Cashing in on delusional people.

4th April 1971, More than 90,000 people want to go to the moon.

In view of the astronomical number of 90,000 bookings for commercial interplanetary flights, the American airline Pan American has decided not to register any more candidates. The first candidate for a lunar voyage registered in 1964. By 1968 the number of registrations had risen to 5,000 and since then the waiting list has quickly become longer.

In 1969 the news outlet ABC promotes the tickets during the live Apollo 11 broadcast.
